Slapstick stuff in Oriel Park last Thursday, with Dundalk’s league game against Shelbourne nearly called off as referee Anthony Buttimer took issue with the colour of the goalkeeper’s jerseys. Buttimer was unsatisfied with four colours provided by Dundalk, with blue, black, yellow and grey all causing some problem or other.
