Photography Project: Week 4

I’m a little late this week. I try to post this on Saturday, where it will bother the least number of people, but it was a busy weekend, and I had to prioritize other things. Paint, mostly. We’re building more bookshelves for the living room. If we won’t build a new room, we will turn […]

Unnatural Light

Photography Project: Week 1

No better time to start than when you’re left sitting in the car! There wasn’t much in the way of photogenic subjects, but the sun came out briefly and shone upon Henry’s fat little feet.
And there was sweet Evie, sitting patiently in her seat, waiting for our party to return. I love her to pieces.
I took the children to the library on Tuesday night, and Henry needed to nurse, so we found ourselves an underpopulated area. When he finished, I snapped a few photographs before rejoining the other children.
So this was staged, in the colorful produce department of the local Kroger in the busy hour just before school let out. This was my first effort at brave public photography!
Same day, same store, except this is Evie. Have I mentioned that I love her so?
Since I’m on a roll, when Henry went down for a rare nap, I skeedaddled out onto the farm to find me some photographs. I liked the feathery grass behind the wire, but I had to use the manual focus setting. I was actually surprised it came out this well.
And I have a thing for fence posts, the gnarlier, the better.

Why I Am Attempting a Photography Project
