Pink Elephants

So this tutorial showed up in my feed reader this morning, and my impulsive, must-be-doing-something self, who is completely ready to have this baby and so must occupy herself with other activities, thought, “That’s just the thing!”

The girls came down and saw I was up to something. “What now,” they sighed, and exchanged sympathetic glances.

My neighbor had a baby girl last Wednesday, and I’ve been wondering what to bring as a gift. At least, that was my excuse for sewing up these cute little pachyderms. I made a pair: one to keep, one to give away. 😉

  1. I hedged my bets when I bought fabric. I am so excited that now I can confidently cut squares. At least I hope I can be confident unless you are intentionally tricking me. 😉

You let it slip at last! (Though Mommy told me you were hoping for the 19th, so I kinda knew then!) Can’t wait! Can’t wait!

So you kept a pink one! :). I hope your little one arrives soon. If not, I hope to see you Monday. I have finally cut out my quilt squares. I had arranged them and was ready to sew but now I think I need to add more and make it bigger. I wanted a small project so I wouldn’t get discouraged (lazy) and quit but I’m not going to quit!
