The Canadian Soccer Association is pleased to learn earlier this week that CONCACAF has accepted its efforts to include a Canadian team in the newly-expanded 24-club CONCACAF Champions League.

St Patrick’s Athletic have made two further signings today which brings to seven - the total number of new additions at Richmond Park for the coming season.
Welsh born defender Jamie Harris is back for his second spell at St Pat’s and is returning to the eircom League where he has already won three league titles.
Signed from Dunfermline, the 28 year old defender began his career with Swansea City before moving across to play for seven seasons in the League of Ireland.
Wexford born midfielder Gary Dempsey joins from League One side Yeovil Town. The 28 year old has experienced Scottish Premiership football over a number of seasons with Dunfermline Athletic and more recently with Aberdeen.
Having recovered from an injury earlier in the season, Dempsey has gone on to make 16 appearances for Yeovil and he scored on Tuesday night in his side’s 2-2 draw away to Port Vale.
Sounds like too good signings. Anyone know much about Dempsey? seen him play?
